Would you feed your child chemicals that would cause them to be hyper, moody, or distracted? Of course not, no parent wants that. Well, this blog is to help parents understand that your kids probably eat foods at every meal that could really keep them from being their best. It's time to get the word out.

FDA to hold hearings
Well it's about time. Follow this link to see the press release from Center for Science in the Public Interest indicating they are finally getting a response to their petition to the FDA on food dyes.
I was reading in my Health magazine that alot of Europe is putting warning on foods with dyes "may have an adverse affect on children" WOW is all i can say. they have really changed their foods and i think the US is slowly catching on. the colored goldfish crackers (rainbow) are now colored with fruit juices. I think they know peple are changing. thanks so much.
Thanks for posting this link to the hearing. We will write a letter describing our experience with food dyes. My daughter is very sensitive to Red #40 and Yellow 5 & 6. Being able to eliminate dye-related behavior issues as been tremendous for us. Parenting is so much easier now.
It's time! March is here. This is so important. Can't wait to learn more details. I too am on the petroleum free journey with my family and invite you to stop by my blog too!
I reposted this on my site. It's about time!
